Mount Mitchell is a historic property and homestead nestled in the world-renowned Pyrenees wine and farming district of Victoria.

Built in 1861, the homestead has been a private home until 2015, where the grounds and many of the historic buildings have been opened to the public as stunning Pyrenees events venue for functions such as weddings and parties, and for farm stay and holiday accommodationMount Mitchell CottageMitchell House and the nearby Abode offer exceptional accommodation in our country retreat from 1 to 11 guests.

The stunning gardens and surrounds of Mount Mitchell homestead are also welcome to hosting delightful morning and high tea events, private and corporate functions.

For a faster journey to Mount Mitchell, hop on board Microflite’s Helicopter Service from Melbourne City Helipad, located right on the Yarra River in the heart of the city.

Microflite has a range of helicopters with four, five or six seats in each, offering a 45-minute flight from Melbourne to Mount Mitchell, depending on the weather conditions.

A return flight from Melbourne City Helipad to Mount Mitchell is $2750 including GST for up to three passengers. For four or more passengers the cost is $795 per person, including GST. These rates are valid until 30th June 2016.
