We are proud to be provide historic tours of the MOUNT MITCHELL ESTATE as part of the Ballarat Heritage Festival in May, 2023.
Enjoy the beautiful grounds whilst learning of the wonderful history of the Mount Mitchell Estate and the National Trust listed property’s links to famous explorers, early settlement, merino sheep, the gold rush, architecture and stories of past owners. A Devonshire tea is provided.
Tours will be conducted at 10am and 2pm each Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday throughout the festival.
The homestead is a private residence and not open to the public.
